Bangladesh

I went to Bangladesh for the last two weeks of November as part of a Habitat for Humanity project working alongside a Bangladeshi family in the Jessore district (south western Bangladesh) as they built themselves a house, using local materials to create an environmentally friendly and durable home. The local children had great fun playing with me.

We also went on a trip to the Sunderban National Park - the largest Mangrove forest in the world.

We flew via Doha (Qatar) to Dhaka, then to Jessore and the Sunderban - a round trip of 12,142 miles.
