Had a bit of a trip down south this weekend with Deb. She used to live in Romsey and we went to see one of her friends, Louisa. I went to Winchester and Southampton too and Deb bought an outfit for the fancy dress party she is going to next weekend. You have to dress as someone from the 60s. I notice I didn't get a costume. Baboons were subtly different in the 60s you know!

- I'm a baboon, but I have a very special group of friends. My previous owner had decided I would have a better life with another family and sent me to the charity shop. Luckily, my new friend Deborah saw me and took me to meet a new group of friends. They have taken on a challenge to take me to as many interesting places as possible over the next 12 months. I'll be going home with one of them each weekend, going on holiday with them and meeting their friends. The only condition is that we must take a photo of us having fun. What a wonderful life I will have. The challenge is to beat another team and their monkey - distance travelled (we'll be off-setting), places visited and quality of life. I feel sorry for the other monkey, as my new friends are pretty determined!
